Case Studies - UKG – Corporate Incentive Gifts

UKG is a global technology company specialising in workforce and human capital management solutions, including the well-known brands Ultimate Software, Kronos and PeopleDoc.
Their people-centred culture supports organisations worldwide in keeping employees productive, connected and happy. Their customer base includes major brands such as Sainsbury’s, Unilever, Marriott, Hermes and BNP Paribas.
In 2021, UKG strengthened their global profile through the acquisition of the Great Place to Work Institute, a leading authority on workplace culture.

Brief

UKG approached THEMPC to support a new initiative within their customer advocacy programme, UKG Insiders—a ‘fan club’ for their most engaged customers.
They required corporate incentive gifts to be created and delivered at four key engagement stages throughout the year:

  • New member
  • First activity
  • Engage again
  • Active advocate

The gifts needed to be high quality, fully UKG-branded, and distributed across several months. Insiders would register and claim their gifts online, so a reliable fulfilment process and an efficient management system were also essential.

Result

THEMPC managed the complete project lifecycle, from concept to delivery. Using in-house design, print and production facilities, we created 120 bespoke gift units across the four stages. Each was carefully tailored with premium branded contents, including:

  • Notepads
  • Engraved pens
  • Mugs with biscuits
  • Speakers
  • Personalised Chilly’s bottles
  • Power banks

To elevate the experience, each package style was designed uniquely—foam-fitment lids, 4-board cases with magnetic closures, branded sleeves and protective e-flute shippers. All packaging featured matt lamination and a consistent three-colour UKG logo, printed on the same machine for perfect colour accuracy.

Beyond production, we provided complete fulfilment and distribution, along with a bespoke online portal giving UKG direct control over order requests. This streamlined system ensured effortless delivery straight to customers’ doors.

UKG were thrilled with the finished incentive packs and have since appointed THEMPC to store stock and continue managing on-demand fulfilment going forward.
